Life is frustrating and disappointing!
I see that almost every day in my ER. People come in with all kinds of superficial physical & emotional complaints. But when you take the time to listen to their complaint you hear their need.
You discover they are people without hope. You discover they are people that are stuck. You discover they are people who do not have the life they have always wanted.
We've all heard the comment, "Get a life!" Let's be honest; we've all said it.
I have come to understand that is a false statement. We all have a life!
Whether our life was chosen for us or the choices we made chose it for us . . . each of us, whether we like it or not . . . regardless of whether it is good or bad, we have a life.
But is it the life we want?
Getting ready for Christmas I have been pondering the words of Jesus in John 10:10 when He said, "I have come so that you can have life."
What kind of "LIFE" is that?
